Midrealm Spring Coronation 2026

Presented by the Barony of Sternfeld

May 2, 2026 from 9am to 9pm

At the Old Bethel United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, IN

Join the Barony of Sternfeld to celebrate the Coronation of Louis II and Sadb II on May 2nd, 2026!

There will be a morning court where Their Royal Majesties Sascha and Kemma will step down and pass the Crown to Their Royal Highnesses Louis & Sadb. There will be another court in the evening, followed by a delicious feast planned by Vladimir Igorevich Zholtov.

But wait, there’s more! There will be so much to do and see:

  • Bardic Ballyhoo – in celebration of TRH love of bardic, there will be an open bardic gathering in its own room, next to the populace space. Bring your heart-wrenching ballads, your jubilant songs, and everything in between! — For questions regarding Bardic, contact Líadan Liathán
  • Arts & Sciences – in addition to an eclectic set of classes (submissions still welcome!) and an open Craftsperson’s Green, we’ll be having a Laurel Showcase. Laurels! What have you been working on? We want to see! Whether its masterwork to display, or the newest art that you’re learning, let us see what’s on your workbench. Sign-ups will be coming soon! — For questions regarding A&S activities, contact THL Raziya al-Zarqa’ and Lady Thora Brandsdottir.
  • Merchants – whether you’re headed to Pennsic, need an upgrade to your kit, or just deserve a little treat, make sure to visit the Merchant’s Row. — To sign up to Merchant, please contact Master Greg Bryant
  • Publick House – the Publick House is a daycamp and hospitality space open to any event attendee. Laurel Showcase

Hello, Most Honorable Companions of the Laurel! This year at Coronation, we’d like to take a bit of time and see what you’re working on. Please consider showing us what’s on your bench at the Laurel Showcase!

What is the Laurel Showcase, you may ask? It’s a low-pressure way for Laurels to show what they’ve been working on. Whether it’s some of the masterwork that you’re known for, or a brand new craft that you’re learning, we want to see! I like to think of it something between a ToA and a science fair – set up a display, tell people about it when they come by, and have fun!

The Showcase is planned to run from 12-4 in the A&S space. The goal is for each participant to have 1 hour to set up their display, show it off, and break it down before the next person can set up. If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out to me Thora, or Raziya al-Zarqa‘.

If you’d like to sign up, just fill out the form at the link below! I’ll reach out a few days before Coronation to confirm timing.

Thank you all, and I can’t wait to see what you’re doing!
